Sr. Engineer, Wire Harness Systems

​​​​​​Job Description & Skill Requirement:

• Good Knowledge in Vehicle electrical Harness design and Development.
• Good Experience in Wire Harness routing, Flattening, and drawing creation.
• •    Schematic creation & update according to the customer requirements.
• Technically sound in Harness Manufacturing knowledge
• Responsible for Electrical Systems design, Electrical analysis, Produce Manufacturing Drawings, Create Bills of Material, Create Wiring / Schematic Diagrams.
• Propose OEM components and materials for cable design. 
• stress analysis, structural analysis DFMEA. 
• Plastic Channel Design for Harness Mounting.
• Parametric Surfacing Modelling.
• Demonstrate attention to detail and exhibit high quality in engineering documentation and expected to highlight low-high complexity technical risks and drive mitigation plans during project/task execution. 
• Advice/Consult supplier during product development phase to translate detailed engineering requirements into specifications, collaborate with internal and external cross functional teams for problem solving and design verification/validation.
• Accountable for delivering on time with quality as part of Key Performance indicators (KPIs), as well as consistent improvement in efficiency.

 Qualification:

• Bachelor of Science in the areas of Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Computer Science or other related fields
