Senior Engineer
Location: Weirton, WV
Review and coordinate designs produced by engineering teams, trade contractors, and other third-party vendors to ensure a clash-free, constructible design modelWork with engineers, trades, and design professionals to develop an integrated model delivery approach and lead clash detection reviews with a focus on optimizing the construction process and driving quality and valueSet up and maintain large, federated building models involving 8-10 design and engineering disciplines. Projects are cloud-hosted and span across multiple internal and external design teamsEnsure high standards of quality and consistency regarding Revit family modeling, model health checks and BIM 360 / ACC Docs maintenance and housekeepinIntegrate factory layout and manufacturing team’s models with engineering and vendor modelsDevelopment and Management of ongoing efforts for LiDAR laser scanning collection and laser scan managementCheck accuracy & completeness of the models, physical & operational spatial coordination, and timely implementation and resolution of any issues according to an aggressive scheduleProvide both management and design skills in support of a detailed and accurate BIM modelsDeliver completed, as-built models to facilities teams to assist with commissioning, maintenance, and operationIntroduce, support, and oversee the implementation of industry leading BIM technologyWhat You'll Bring
Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or Civil, Architectural, or Mechanical Engineering and/or evidence of exceptional experience8+ years’ experience working with trades on construction of high-tech infrastructure and facilities (semiconductor, solar, pharmaceutical, data centers)3+ years managing a team of interdisciplinary BIM and design professionalsProven expertise in Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360/ACC and reality capture applicationsExperience with scripting and/or visual programming automation tools (Dynamo and Python). Mastery preferredExperience interfacing with construction and procurement teams on quantity takeoffs and alignment between Work Breakdown Structure based cost tracking and BIM parametersExperience working on highly complex, large-scale infrastructure projects
