Job Description & Skill Requirement:

 

 

  • Co-ordinate with scanning partners for scanning activities and tracking progress.
  • Co-ordinate with post-scanning team for registration progress, data splitting plan and delivery of data to offshore team.
  • Report any challenges with scanning and post scanning activities.
  • Report Chevron on scanning progress on weekly basis.
  • Co-ordination with all stake holders (Client, LTTS & scanning partners) of digital twin on issues and feedback.
  • Co-ordinate on any new scanning scope requirement with Digital twin team.
  1. Gather and implement detailed inputs like piping specifications, isometrics, datasheets, P&IDs, equipment layouts, battery limits and co-ordinate systems for 3D modelling and effective data presentation.
  2. Perform field walkdowns for clarifications that arise during the execution of 3D modeling and laser scan activities.
  3. Work with multiple disciplines in refinery like operations, maintenance and designs engineering for project schedule and safety parameters.
  4. Direct, coordinate, advise and technically support the digital twin 3D modeling while working at customer location with high focus on quality and accuracy of the refinery data being captured and processed.
  5. Create individual piping drawings, sketch drawings and isometrics to generate bill of material using pipe specifications for performing routine site maintenance and executing engineering work orders by construction teams.
  6. Perform clash checks on 3D model in Navisworks Manage tool to ensure high quality is achieved and matches the real-world conditions as per the digital twin project requirements.
  7. Assist, identify and resolve design issues through collaboration with designs engineering group, drafter, designers and other internal and external stakeholders.
  8. Generate technical reports, weekly reports and presentations supporting the timely completion of the digital twin project as per schedule.
  9. Locate necessary supporting documentation for 3D modeling and verification using Aveva AIM and APCM cloud database.
  10. Maintain documentation for the design and scope changes, schedule and cost impact during the project execution while aligning with internal and external stakeholders.
  11. Develop continuous improvement solutions and formulate proposals by collecting and analyzing information and data related to digital twin project execution. 
  12. Provide inputs to internal team with field isometrics, hand sketch drawings, clash check reports, tagging of comments in Navisworks Manage for resolving queries and quality assurance.

 

Qualification:

  • A bachelor's degree or higher in engineering or related field
