Job Description & Skill Requirement
- USD NQE Lab Engr
Job functions:
- Process tickets submitted by the Product & Technology Teams by performing initial triage and troubleshooting on the Nokia USD provisioning platforms (BQR/GreenPlum, DQI/EEIR, Provisioning Gateway, NAP, One-NDS, HSS, UDM). Identify the problem area and bring in support engineers as needed.
- RTPG custom module and NAP regression testing and trouble-shooting support.
- Lab SIM provisioning and troubleshooting.
Required knowledge/experience:
- Knowledge of LTE and 5G telecom call flows.
- Subscriber provisioning for wireless carrier communication systems using Nokia USD platforms.
- network technologies and protocols: TCP, UDP, IPv4, IPv6
- Interfaces: SOAP XML, REST, JSON
- Protocols: LDAP, DIAMETER
- UNIX, LINUX, OpenStack, Kubernetes.
- Linux scripting, Bash scripting.
- Database technology, SQL, MongoDB, schema design, data modelling, scalability, security
Preferred knowledge/experience:
- Experience with testing and troubleshooting on the Nokia NAP platform.
- Experience with testing and troubleshooting on the Nokia RTPG platform.
- Experience with testing and troubleshooting on the Nokia BQR/DQI/PGW/PPX/One-NDS/HSS/UDM platforms.
