Job Description:

JMA is seeking experienced Firmware Development Engineers with expertise in XU67 firmware development. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in Yocto and experience working with WG11. This is a long-term opportunity based in the United States, with positions available in Plano, TX, Syracuse, NY, and New Jersey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain firmware for XU67.
• Utilize Yocto for firmware development and customization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
• Work with WG11 standards and protocols.
• Troubleshoot and resolve firmware-related issues.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience in XU67 firmware development.
• Proficiency with Yocto.
• Experience working with WG11.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the telecommunications industry.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Knowledge of additional firmware development tools and languages.
