Job Description & Skill Requirement:

Job Title: 4G/5G Site Construction Manager (Ericsson Sites)                   

Job Summary:                 

The 4G/5G Site Construction Manager is responsible for overseeing the construction and deployment of 4G and 5G network sites using Ericsson equipment. This role involves managing site surveys, scoping, planning, and ensuring that all site builds meet the required specifications and standards.                

Key Responsibilities:                   

Site Surveys and Scoping: Conduct and oversee detailed site surveys to assess the feasibility of new 4G/5G site builds, specifically for Ericsson equipment. Develop comprehensive scoping documents.                    

Project Planning: Create detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budgeting for site builds.                 

Construction Management: Supervise the construction of 4G/5G sites, ensuring adherence to design specifications and quality standards. Coordinate with construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors.                   

Technical Documentation: 

Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including site plans, equipment specifications, and installation guidelines for Ericsson products.                        

Compliance and Safety: 

Ensure all site builds comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies. Conduct regular safety audits and inspections.                         

Quality Assurance:

 Perform quality checks and audits on completed site builds to ensure they meet the required standards.                        

Troubleshooting: 

Identify and resolve any issues that arise during the site build process, particularly those related to Ericsson equipment.                              

Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with project managers, network engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.                       

Qualifications:               

Education: 

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.                        

Experience: 

Minimum of 5 years of experience in telecommunications, with a focus on 4G/5G site builds and construction management using Ericsson equipment.                              

Technical Skills: 

Proficiency in RF planning tools, CAD software, and site survey tools. In-depth knowledge of Ericsson 4G/5G technologies and standards.                 

Soft Skills:

 Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.                      

Certifications: 

Relevant certifications in telecommunications or project management are a plus.                      

Preferred Qualifications:                          

• Experience with Ericsson Radio System (ERS) products and solutions.                             
• Familiarity with Ericsson Network Manager (ENM) and other Ericsson-specific tools1.                             
• Knowledge of safety and regulatory compliance in telecommunications.
