Job Description & Skill Requirement


1. Engineering manager is responsible for setting the direction of electrical systms /  harness design dedicated team to meet revenue and margin targets.
2. Coordination with sales for new customer / division acquisition of work.
3. They should be able to work with the client to understand the requirements and able to put the compelling proposal along with the project delivery team.
4. Engineering Manager should be able to interface with the local and global delivery centers.
5. Oversee engineering teams for various types of projects in harness design and build.
6. Will work from LTTS office and be an interface for customer’s sites. 
7. Oversee Engineering Staff: Ability to hire and train engineering staff. They are required to conduct interviews, complete job reviews, and act as mentors for engineers. 
8. Design Project Budgets, Schedules, and Staffing :  engineering managers develop a project schedule that is is required to complete cost estimation reports, assemble engineering teams, assign tasks, set deadlines.
9. Inspect Progress of Engineering Projects : Work collaboratively with the project leads to discuss issues and work progression, ensure that projects meet specifications, and revise schedules or deadlines as necessary. 
10. Oversee harness build lab to support harness design services.
