- Be able to perform analysis and studies to verify systems/subsystems meet MIL-STD-461G and MIL-STD-464D for Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3)
- Select or guide development of components and subsystems to meet MIL-STD-461G
- Write Electromagnetic Interference Test Procedures (EMITP)
- Review and interpret Electromagnetic Interference Test Reports
- Develop E3 Control Plans and E3 Verification plans that include system level bonds and ground inspection procedures, documentation on the design, and test support analysis
- Support E3 testing and provide guidance to test facilities to diagnose the source of any E3 concerns
- Provide design support to mitigate E3 effects
