- Program Coordination:
- Collaborate with Customer and cross-functional teams to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables.
- Proven track record in handling Change request and impact analysis, planning
- Develop and maintain detailed program plans, schedules, and budgets as per Program/Work packages
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets
- Work closely with Cross Geo teams (India & Europe)
- 8 -15 years of Strong experience in development of Commercial Vehicle component areas of Chassis//Bus Body Parts
- Agile methodology is must
- 3D CAD experience in Automotive domain specifically in Highway (Trucks and Buses) and Off-Highway Vehicles.
- Strong working knowledge of CATIA V5, 3D Experience, WINDCHILL,
- Understanding of Ruplan, EB-Cable, L-Dorado, LCA
- Experience with being part of a project from concept to production. Strong Knowledge of Product life cycle.
- Strong Basics of Engineering Drawings and Standards.
- Good knowledge of materials and their properties.
- Strong basic knowledge of CAE of Mechanical components. (stress, strain, weight optimization, etc).
- Knowledge of common manufacturing processes used for automotive parts like Castings, forming, plastic mouldings, metal stamping design, fabrication methods, etc.
German Language Proficiency:
- Communicate effectively in German with team members, suppliers, and customers.
- Translate technical documents and communicate technical information fluently in both German and English.
- Strong technical writing skills. (Design reports and presentation)
- Good Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to effectively represent information and respond to questions in a meeting environment.
- CATIA and WINDCHILL Expertise:
- Utilize CATIA and WINDCHILL software to manage and track program-related data, designs, and documentation.
- Support engineering teams in the creation, modification, and release of design documentation.
- Troubleshoot any CATIA and WINDCHILL related issues and provide training as needed.
- Special Order Program Management:
- Securing the technical scope of the Special orders
- Manage the end-to-end process of special orders for trucks, including order processing, customization, and delivery.
- Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure on-time production and delivery of special orders.
- Act as the main point of contact for customers regarding their special-order requests.
- Quality Assurance:
- Implement quality control measures to ensure that all special orders meet established standards and specifications.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to verify the quality of customized truck components.
