Job Description: Exterior Fitment Engineer
Responsibilities
• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 3 years of experience in automotive Exterior system and subsystem design and development
• Thorough knowledge of engineering design & development concepts of automotive exterior system e.g. Windshield Glasses, Wiper system, Side Mirrors, B- pillar Appliques, Active Grill Shutter etc
• Very good proficiency in CATIA V5.
• Relevant experience in Master Sections, Vehicle Integration, Vehicle packaging, Concept creation, assembly processes of various Interior assemblies.
• Knowledge and understanding of Tooling and manufacturing processes
• Prepare and maintain engineering release and change documentation
• Lead design FMEA studies and GD&T
• Ability to perform Vehicle / assembly packaging study
• Maintain and develop Design Validation Plans (DVP), and Design Failure Mode Analysis (DFMEA)
• Collaborate with system suppliers and support overall vehicle development milestones and prototype/production build events
• Must have ability to perform feasibility studies, Check A-class surface and define craftsman ship target.

• Glazing – Windshield, Quarter Glasses, Roof Glass and Backlite
