Technical Focus Areas
- 1. BS Degree in Electrical Engineering and 5+ years of experience in the design of related products. Or A Master’s Degree plus 3 years or greater experience.
2. Hardware architecture design experience with embedded microcontrollers (ARM, PowerPC, FGPA) and necessary peripherals (SRAM, DRAM, Flash, Ethernet, USB, CAN)
3. Experience with Altium Designer as CAD tool for printed circuit board schematic and layout design
4. Experience in Requirement Managemnet and Engineering Change Control
5. Experience creating hardware design documentation (Requirements, Specifications, Test Plan, Hardware to Software Interface)
6. Experience with 24VDC digital, analog, power, and protection circuit design
7. Experience bench testing and debugging embedded systems (Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzer).
8. Experience performing and troubleshooting environmental performance of Electronic Controllers (Temperature, Vibration, Abnormal Voltage, EMC, ESD)
9. Experience in Cross functional teams coordinate (Testing, Quality, Supply Chain, Manufacturing)
10. Ability to lead up to 3 subordinate Engineers (Associate Design Engineers, Design Engineers and Contract employees as required)
11. Problem Solving Techniques, Root Cause analysis methods
