  • Our Engineering teame has an opening for a Wire-Harness Design Engineer.
  • This Engineer will be responsible for designing both the low-voltage and high-voltage
  • vehicle wire-harnesses as well as integrating them into current and future product
  • offerings that set the benchmark for electric motorcycles.
  • They will be expected to engage with various stakeholders across the vehicle to ensure
  • that components are electrically integrated as well as design, prototype, test, and
  • productionize vehicle wire-harnesses and supporting brackets/caddies that will be
  • used across the entire product portfolio. They will thrive in an environment of
  • innovation that requires strong problem-solving skills and independent self-direction,
  • coupled with an aptitude for team collaboration and open communication.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of wire-harness requirements, guidelines, and
  • best practices
  • Define the wire-harness layout across all forms of physical interfaces and
  • topologies
  • Package the wire-harness within the vehicle adhering to physical and mechanical
  • requirements while maintaining styling design vision and approval
  • Design supporting bracketry and mounting components to comprehensively
  • integrate the wire-harnesses into the vehicle
  • Exercise strong engineering fundamentals to create designs that achieve
  • aggressive vehicle performance, weight, and cost goals
  • Provide technical input to suppliers and partners to assure wire-harness
  • requirements are achieved and delivered in a quality way
  • Engage in troubleshooting EV vehicles by reviewing test incident information and
  • identifying areas for continuous improvement
  • Streamline product development process and implement best practices while
  • eliminating waste
  • Influence, mentor, and inspire teammates while demonstrating effective crossfunctional collaboration to deliver world class designs
  • Conduct research and benchmarking exercises for future wire-harness strategies
  • and concept vehicles
  • Facilitate the development of troubleshooting procedures required to build and
  • service vehicles
