Sr Systems Engineer - MBSE

HYBRID is acceptable; Need to go customer to site as required.

• Perform technical activities in the design, development, integration and testing of embedded software applications pertaining to Stores Management Systems and Future Vertical Lift applications.
• Generate and allocate system functional requirements into efficient software and firmware architectures of avionics utilizing Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) 
• Validate and verify system requirements, including initial integration of software and hardware 
• Develop plant models, test environment models, perform simulations, generate code and code optimization. 
• Interact with Systems design team to define requirements and develop models for the platforms and systems 
• Develop new tools in support of MBSE objectives.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or similar field from an accredited university or college 
• At least 8 years experience in MBSE engineering development
• Ability & Willingness to obtain and maintain DoD Security Clearance
• Knowledge of GE Aviation systems development processes 
• Experience with software tools such as DOORs, Dimensions, RTC, Git, Windchill 
• Experience in Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) using SysML in Cameo/NoMagic tool for the design and verification of avionics-based systems 
• Experience with AADL 
• Experience with scripting in Python, JavaScript, Groovy, Perl, Bash (Desired)
• Knowledge of the key aspects of developing and maintaining of a Product Line 
• Strong verbal and written communication skills 
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize work in a dynamic environment
