Network Engineer,  who’s role involves managing and maintaining the OT Network at 6 Cytiva sites. They will work with mainly Cisco switches and Palo Alto firewalls, work with the Cytiva’s corporate IT to submit tickets to help cross OT and IT, manage various VLANs at sites and create new segments where needed, and be able to have deep networking knowledge with the ability toi debug routing problems, DNS problems, etc.

Develops & implements procedures for maintaining and or enhancing the integrity of IT and OT systems and applications. Ensures that requirements are clearly defined and testable. Responsible for the creation and execution of detailed test plans and scripts to verify software functionality and adherence to business requirements. Execution of scripts will include progress reporting, defect tracking and risk assessments, utilizing Azure Devops. May be responsible for the maintenance, training, and information communications for tools used to support the product development process. Performs diverse and complex assignments in support of test and evaluation. Assignments may include, but are not limited to: set up and running of data acquisition equipment for tests, carrying out experiments, troubleshooting, and reporting/documenting results of tests and measures, lead compliance and quality activities, and train other team members.
 
Key responsibilities/essential functions include: Utilize initiative and independent judgment, construct, evaluate and improve complex engineering models using conceptual descriptions and ideas. Anticipate troubleshooting needs and perform complex troubleshooting encompassing multiple variables and unknowns to achieve root cause analysis and problem resolution. Configuring and troubleshooting network devices (switches, routers) and utilizing a basic knowledge of putty. Configuring windows systems network cards (IP addresses). Perform basic Windows systems administration tasks (user/group management, group policy). Documenting network configurations and system changes.
