- At least 13+ years of Product experience in Residential HVAC Product development
- HVAC System Engineering background added advantage
- Familiarity with Heating, Ventilating, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration systems desired
- Fundamentals of heat transfer, fluid dynamics, thermodynamics and material science
- Design a thermodynamic system or subsystem with direct guidance
- Design of experiments and data analysis technique knowledge
- Development of new heat exchanger technologies and residential split system products
- Collaborate with lab technicians to complete performance testing, reliability testing, and agency testing requirements
- Partner with manufacturing to understand and translate design and process engineering requirements into product line design components, subsystems, and products
- Track, document, and update R&D performance, report against the plan and analyze the completion of key project goals to stakeholders on a weekly and monthly cadence
- Conduct regular meetings with clients to ensure clarification and meet specific requirements in a timely manner, assess resource risks, and resolve issues
- Hands on Experience in HVAC New Product Development Processes
- Good understanding and usage of HVAC Compliance process, Data Mgmt. and reporting (AHRI, UL, CSA)
- Good Understanding of Simulation tools used by Industrial HVAC for e.g Unitary, Air-conditioner, Heat Pump, Furnace
- Hands on knowledge in HVAC Engineering Calculations
- Knowledge and understanding of HVAC controls will be desired
- Good to have prior experience of business process design and reengineering activities
- Good Business Analyst skills- To understanding and document business process and Use Cases and conducting gap analysis
- Good communication and client interaction skill
- Communicates with senior executive leadership regarding matters of strategic importance to the organization
- Proficient with Microsoft; Excel, Project, PowerPoint, and Word
- Willing to travel internationally
