Technician - PCB Assembler
Summary:
Electrical Technician-PCB Assembler.
Job Description and Responsibilities:
• Performs functional testing, routine testing and analyzing using defined procedures of individual electronic circuits or Printed Circuit Boards (PCB).
• Perform soldering and working with smaller wiring. Working with different types of soldering such as standard and high temperature soldering.
• Safely remove and replace soldered components on a PCB without damaging the rest of the PCB.
• Read design drawings and assemble PCBs from scratch as well as repair of PCBs.
• Must be proficient in understanding/interpreting electronic and/or electrical schematics/drawings/prints.
• Performs preventive/predictive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairing a variety of electronic and/or electrical equipment.
• Experience with high temperature/high vibration electronics (such as gold soldering, etc.) is also desirable and would give candidates an advantage over others
• Good to have or Knowledge of LabVIEW and PAD’s CAD software but not mandatory skill.
Job Skills & Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent degree.
• Required basic soldering and/or electronics knowledge.
• Relevant Industry Technical Certification is preferred.
• 3+ years experience in an electrical field.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
