Mechanical Design Engineer (full-time, one opening)

L&T Technology Services Ltd. is in need of a Mechanical Design Engineer in Edison, NJ and various unanticipated locations throughout the US to design, integrate, or improve manufacturing systems or related processes. May work with commercial or industrial designers to refine product designs to increase producibility and decrease costs. Identify opportunities or implement changes to improve products or reduce costs using knowledge of fabrication processes. Must have Bachelor’s Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or related field, plus two years of mechanical design experience. The two years of mechanical design experience must include one year of experience using CATIA; ENOVIA PLM; AutoCAD; Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T); and MS Office Tools. In lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree (or foreign equivalent), we will accept a Bachelor’s Degree (or foreign equivalent) earned through any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience, as determined by a professional evaluation service. All experience may be acquired concurrently. Travel and relocation required.
