Mechanical Design Engineer(s) (full-time, multiple openings)

L&T Technology Services Ltd. is in need of Mechanical Design Engineer(s) in Edison, NJ and various unanticipated locations throughout the US to establish and evaluate structural design concepts. Provide mechanical support for design, fabrication, modification, and evaluation of parts, assemblies, components, sub-assemblies, tooling, and final products. Support development team to provide innovative design and manufacturing solutions, mechanical cost reduction ideas, structural concept designing through CAD modeling, and manufacturing drawings. Identify opportunities or implement changes to improve products or reduce costs. Design, integrate, or improve systems or related processes. Refine product designs to increase producibility and decrease costs. Must have a Bachelor’s Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or related field, plus two years of engineering experience. The two years of engineering experience must include one year of experience using CATIA V6, DFM (Design For Manufacturing), ENOVIA and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). In lieu of a bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent), we will accept a Bachelor’s Degree (or foreign equivalent) earned through any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience, as determined by a professional evaluation service. All experience may be acquired concurrently. Travel and relocation required. International travel is not required. Any travel that is required will be domestic in nature to visit various LTTS and client facilities based on project needs.
