Design Engineer

Design Engineer (full-time, one opening)

L&T Technology Services Ltd. is in need of a Design Engineer in Edison, NJ and various unanticipated locations throughout the US to conduct research, analysis, design and development activities for the existing and newer aircraft integration projects. Evaluate the designs to ensure they meet FAA regulations. Involving in the project from start to finish to determine if proposed projects are technically possible and safe, ensuring the quality. Engineer is responsible for directing the manufacturing and testing of the prototypes that have been designed, they should be able to create the foundation for manufacture methods, and quality standards. Co-ordinate with cross functional teams and inspect malfunctioning products to determine the source and solution of the problem. Must have a Bachelor’s Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Engineering (any) or related field, plus two years of engineering experience. The two years of engineering experience must include one year of experience using SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD, Mastercam, Ansys Workbench, and Six Sigma & Lean Principles. In lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree (or foreign equivalent), we will accept a Bachelor’s Degree (or foreign equivalent) earned through any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience, as determined by a professional evaluation service. All experience may be acquired concurrently. Travel and relocation required. International travel is not required. Travel is limited to domestic travel to various LTTS and client facilities based on project needs.
