Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Under direct mentorship, a PDT Associate will gain knowledge of preventive/predictive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairing a variety of electronic and/or electrical equipment relative to their assigned location.
  • Assist mentor with LOTO of equipment and function testing to verify equipment readiness.
  • Must have a basic understanding of electronic and/or electrical schematics/drawings/prints.
  • Performs work within a variety of Halliburton-specific software and hardware.
  • Assist with rig up/down of electric frac equipment, including making electrical connections and deploying medium voltage electric cables.
  • Assist mentor with identifying unsafe conditions and suspending site operations until conditions are safe.
  • The role is a developmental role that will work around three-phase power distribution components up to 15,000 volts (medium voltage electricity), PLC hardware, and cabling.
  • This role is developmental through OJT and training.
  • It is expected that someone in this role will be able to break out as an independent PDT within 1 year of start.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Technical certificate in applicable discipline or equivalent job experience.
