Job Description

• Provide sustaining engineering support for Cable & Interconnect designs.
• Provide immediate and timely resolution to design related production issues (Problem reports Management) encountered during the build process (system level).
• Read, interpret and create electrical schematics, cable drawings, system interconnects and BOMs.
• Interact with Engineering design group/Cross functional teams/Supplier for design changes & update drawings/documentation
• Electrical/Electronic Component selection and Obsolescence management and Next Higher Assembly BOM updates
• Good communication and Problem-Solving Skills.
• Basic working knowledge in any of the following areas - Electrical architecture, design of IO Controllers/PLCs for Industrial Applications, Circuit design for power and control applications
• Electrical/Electronic Components selection, Cable & Interconnect design and circuit theory knowledge
• Proficient in use of any one latest electrical CAD tools like ZUKEN, PCAD & ORCAD
• Proficient with one of the Product Life cycle Management tools (Document Change and release Management)
