Job Description

  • Design and Release of HPDC Tool design by verifying that specifications of customer Drawings are meeting.
  • Support in the Design & Development of new products and processes being launch to production. Ongoing feedback to Industrialization.
  • Implement process in additional production dies and machines. (Like Trimming, Shot blasting, Powder coating, Cleaning, Packaging)
  • APQP all Phase Management, ECN management & Support SQA for timely documentation.
  • Required Good Experience in Vendor Development.
  • Working knowledge of GD&T, ability to read and understand product prints and specification, AIAG standards is required.
  • Design Smooth flow Gating and Proper Venting System for tooling.
  • Design the Tooling change/Gating system based on Simulation studies.
  • Design Appropriate way for Strengthening Die wall thickness in Tooling Cavity area.
  • Knowledge about Die Catching Tendency & Ejector system optimization.
  • Good in Casting Samples Study and improvement Also need Knowledge on Reverse Engineering. 12. Designing of Machining fixtures/Trimming Tools.
  • Design of Core and Cavity Extraction with Feasible Parting line for the Complex Tooling.
  • Technical feasibility Review with Supplier & Customer for Part Drawing.
  • Process design as per Drawing requirement & familiar with documentations like PPAP, ISO/TS-19649.
  • Ability to Understand ASME drawing & familiar with NADCA standard.
  • Required Good Experience in Vendor Development.
  • Required Good Experience in Data Storage Management and Quality Control management.
  • Responsible for Process development and continuous improvement.
  • Die/tooling Trials monitoring & suggesting changes, modifications.
  • Verifying all drawing feasibility before Project Kick-off.
  • Design and Manage the DFM process (Manufacturing, Assembly, Supply Cain, Cost Control, Serviceability, Sustainability, Reliability, Safety, etc.) and work Also with Product Design for Necessary modifications.
  • Lead HPDC process stabilization to establish a stable and robust process that can be handed off to production personnel.
