Qualifications - BE/ME in Mechanical, Product Design, Tool engineering

Job Description

• Product Design & Development of Handheld/portable device design & development
• Creating concepts, ideas, and solutions
• Design of  rugged enclosures with IP rating
• Solving tough design problems, Failure Analysis techniques including materials analysis
• Plastic and metal part design including material selection.
• Design for Manufacturability (DFM), and Design for Assembly (DFA), statistical tolerance analysis techniques, functional dimensioning, and geometric tolerancing, with focus on high volume manufacturing
• Working with contract manufacturers
• Working with component modules (OLED/LCD, batteries, sensing, acous9c, camera modules, etc.) & Integration of wireless antenna and electrical subsystems (sensing, microphone, speaker, receiver, camera)
• Creating 3D CAD modelling systems and workflow, Siemens NX fluency preferred
