Tech Pubs Analyst

Job Description & Skill Requirement

 JOB DUTIES
1.    Develop and maintain technical publication procedures. 
2.    Draft and check CMM, IPC, AMM, WDMs for proposed major design changes related to interior modifications.
3.    Technial Writing and Illustration of manuals and training for less experienced analysts.
4.    Any administrative aspects of technical publications.
5.    Audit Company compliance to procedures.
6.    Interface with customers, suppliers and other project stakeholders pertaining to technical publications of modification projects.
Provide statements of work, completion schedules, and other project administrative inputs.
 
 
Required:
Minimum of 6 years in Technical Procedures AMM/IPC/WDM/CMM experience and training, A&P, and/or technical degree preferred.
 
Minimum:
1.    A&P and/or technical degree strongly preferred.  Equivalent experience may be considered.
2.    Six (6) years overall work experience.
3.    Must possess strong knowledge of technical procedures.
4.    Must have strong computer skills and demonstrate proficiency with MS Office programs and Adobe Illustrator required.
5.    Must be able to interpret engineering documents/drawings, analytical reports, Federal Aviation Regulations, and OEM manuals and ICAW reports/manuals.
STC process knowledge preferred.  
Process improvement and problem-solving background with strong analytical skills desired.  
Excellent written and oral communication skills required.
