  • Typically requires 5 years of hardware test engineering experience, with demonstrated professional development in validation and verification testing. 
  • Typically 5 years of hardware test engineering experience, with demonstrated professional development in generating test requirements based on product specifications.
  • Testing disciplines include electrical (EMC, functional, etc.) and mechanical (shock, vibration, environmental, etc.).
  • Experience in the creation of test cases, test strategies, test plans, and test procedures to validate product compliance with the specified hardware requirements.
  • Experience in the creation and/or specification of test automation equipment and routines in support of hardware tests.
  • Experience in use of the “V-Model” for Product Development.
  • Technical project leadership, project management, and/or engineering management experience.
  • Experience with applying IEC/EN 60947 and/or other relevant industry standards, and/or experience as a participant in the development of industry standards.
  • Excellent communication skills, along with the ability to read, write, and speak English fluently and with people at all levels.
  • Familiarity with Rockwell Automation products (including Logix controllers and software tools) and/or other industrial control equipment.
  • Ability to work independently, and flexibility to work within a changing environment.
