Senior Power Electronics Hardware Engineer
Responsibility:
• Designs, modifies, and evaluates electronic circuitry, parts, and components for high power products - Motor Drives, Power Supplies
• Works with technical to ensure prototype are assembled to design specification and ready for testing.
• Define and perform electrical power verification testing and analysis
• Participates in Requirement specifications and technical design reviews.
Experience in
• Switching power conversion topologies and Control circuitry for PWM based topologies
• Motor driver design and testing – MOSFET/IGBT
• Familiar with various drive strategies such as trapezoidal and sine, Comfortable with Field Oriented Control algorithms
• Testing and analysis of electromechanical systems - Motor Drives
• SPICE circuit simulation tools (PSPICE etc.)
• Technical documentation - Worst Case Circuit Analysis (WCCA), Electrical Stress / Derating and Design Failure Modes & Effects Analysis (DFMEA)
