Job Description & Skill Requirement:

 

 •    MS Project experience must (Expert) 
•    Lead Project management activities 
•    CPS development and management in Microsoft Project
•    Understand the project scope blocks & develop and manage the project schedule via Microsoft Project (with minimal supervision), ensuring durations, sequencing, and resources of tasks. This is to be done for a complex capacity expansion project. The schedule needs to be something which is progressively growing from a feasibility grade (50% confidence level) to an 80% confidence level in next months’ time
o    In addition, the schedule should be logically set sound such that options/ sub options and its impacts can be shared in a timely manner (Vs needing to develop something from scratch again). Say for ex: in a position to answer a question – what schedule impact will be if “say I delay the procurement of one equipment by 2 weeks / “say if chose to eliminate one scope block from the project. Or is it worth investing money in expediting certain OEM items / split shipments etc..
o    Multiple resource staffing options and its impact (say 6 day 8 hr shifts, 5 day 8 hrs shift, 5 day 24 hr shift etc..)
o    Back-ward planning / Pull planning to arrive at last responsible moment for any tasks (which helps to prioritize things. 
o    Prepare schedule summaries for leadership meetings
o    Analyze the schedule to come up with schedule acceleration ideas/thoughts.
•    Manage the level 2 project schedule via Microsoft Project, ensuring durations, sequencing, and resources of tasks are correctly populated.
•    Lead the development of a specific piece of equipment, unit operation, process or supply general technical expertise.
•    Works closely with team leaders to build, evaluate and optimize project schedules.
•    Regularly review critical path, cost loading, schedule content, use of relationships and lag, constraints, and milestones.
•    Facilitate the weekly project schedule reviews.
•    Provide schedule analysis & metrics to key stakeholders on a regular basis.
•    Check offline as required with resources to understand on/off track status for tasks and flag risks to project manager.
•    Assist or lead in the creation of comprehensive schedule submissions using the Project Success Method, resource, and cost loading as necessary.
•    Manage the Equipment Status Memorandum (ESM) with design firms, and equipment vendors and other stake holders ensure equipment’s deliveries and in‐line with project needs. Communicate any risk on a weekly basis on what is changing, and its impact are correctly populated.
•    Deliver equipment or process as a part of a Project Delivery Team
•    EWP (Engineering Work Processes) familiarity and documentation generation abilities
•    Sourcing Plan via sourcing tool 
•    Issues List generation and upkeep
•    Packaging and Process Making technology experience.
•    Meeting generation in Microsoft Outlook
•    Ability to read P&ID drawings, Electrical drawings and necessary standards
•    Sense of urgency to keep schedule and cost on track
•    Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
•    E Trending Generation and upkeep
•    SAP expert tool knowledge for reports and upkeeps of spending
•    Purchasing requisition or Similar tool knowledge 
•    Small Project Funding Package
•    WBS assignment
•    Spending checks
•    Prediction and estimation of construction cost upkeeps

 

 

Qualification:

  • Engineering  - Chemical/Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation & Control (BE /B.Tech /BS/MS)
